S+T Handelsgesellschaft mbH (S+T)

1989

Foundation of S+T

Chalva Tchigirinsky founded S+T Handelsgesellschaft mbH, one of the first privately held real estate development companies in Russia. S+T pioneered the building of Class A offices and residential developments in Moscow.

1989 - 2001

S+T Projects

S+T successfully developed office, retail and residential projects. In addition, S&T also secured land plots and development permits for over 45 newly- built British Petroleum retail sites.

STT Group

2002

Foundation of STT Group

Chalva Tchigirinsky divested S+T and formed a new real estate development company, STT Group. The Group, whose assets will be transferred into RussianLand, has since become one of the largest real estate development companies in Russia, having built its business through a combination of land acquisition and high-profile tender successes.

2003

STT Projects

Development started on two Metro/Real retail centers in Moscow.
Initiation of the Granatny Pereulok project, with relocation of the existing Moscow Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute.

2004

RussianLand won the tender to redevelop the site of the former Hotel Rossia in Moscow. The new pedestrianized zone envisages a mix of residential, retail and hotel space, together with new concert halls and a museum.

Rights secured to develop Russia Tower, a new skyscraper in the heart of Moscow City.

2005

Acquisition of the New Sovetskaya site in Moscow, where RussianLand plan to develop a new hotel and residential complex.

2006

Expansion into St Petersburg through the acquisition of a 75% interest in The Passage, a prestigious shopping center.

Rights secured to redevelop New Holland Island.

Metro/ Real retail centres completed and divested.

2007

Regional expansion through the acquisition of new projects in the Kalliningrad, Irkutsk, Krasnodar, Krasnaya Polyana, and Tver.

RussianLand

2007

RussianLand Limited was established in Jersey in 2007 and will be the holding company for the real estate business previously operated under the STT Group name. STT’s real estate interests will be rolled up into RussianLand.

RussianLand Implenia Joint Venture

2007

RussianLand entered into a joint venture with Implenia, creating RussianLand Implenia.
